etc. John is very competent at managing and implementing technical
development projects like the Y2K testing for the whole Department
of Education in Tasmania in 1999. He has wide experience in software

administration, network administration, web services, routing, DNS
etc.
Over the last 25 years he has had a wide experience in management
and I.T. This included developing a db2 conference registration
and information system, supervising the establishment of the Qld.
Youth Affairs Contact Centre in 1986 including its telephone information
service and database of youth and welfare services.
He was Qld. Director of a community organization from 1982-1987,
and from 1987-1994 managed a community development agency, training
and sending over 200 short-term staff to Asia. Since then he has
engaged in management consulting in Asia, and established a psychotherapy
business in 1992.
He has also established several other businesses and projects over
the years and was recently involved in establishing a BBS for community
agencies, a community internet access scheme, and a community learning
association.
John studied Computer Science at Qld. Uni. for 3 years but left
because the course was too boring. His hobbies include developing
