Skills

• Excellent communication and customer-focus skills
• Excellent IT reseach and problem-solving skills
• Good TCP/IP and Unix-based System Administration
• Good understand of security principles
• Ability to apply technological solutions to Business requirements.
• Driver's license

Technologies

• Windows desktop Administration in a Corporate Enviroment (WinXP and Vista)
• Windows Servers (Windows 2003 SBS and Windows 2003 standard)
• Linux/BSD (including MacOSX)
• Various Router OSs (ie Cisco)

Role

• System Administrator and Field Engineer for a number of small to medium Enterprises located in Melbourne.
• IT Consultant providing recommendations, researched information and quotes.
• 2nd level Technical Support for Helpdesk technicians
• Customer training

You will be interacting with customers both over the phone and face-to-face. You will be doing system and network dministration to remote sites and on the customer's premises. Onsite visits may require collar and tie :-)

You will be following procedures and tasks outlined by Network Overdrive's Senior Consultants and must be willing to work alone and in a team environment as required.

Advancement to Advance System Administration on UNIX and Window's platforms and full-time employment is available for the right applicant.
