You must love travelling and meeting with small and medium sized business owners and their staff and being willing to take the time to resolve a wide range of IT-related issues. Skills

Role

You will:

  • Be the System Administrator and Field Engineer for a number of small to medium Enterprises located in Melbourne and regional Victoria providing recommendations, researched information and quotes that will assist them in improving their business and competive edge.
  • Offer 2nd level Technical Support for Helpdesk technicians unable to identify root-causes of IT-related problems
  • Carry out proactive regular maintenance tasks including Patch, Virus, Backup Management activities
  • Own/ manage projects and tasks both individually and within the team.
  • Make recommendations to the Account Management team for improvements.
  • Maintain an excellent rapport with, engage on a one-to-one face-to-face basis with customers
  • Accept escalations of tasks from the business to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Speak directly to end-users if a quicker resolution of an issue is needed.

You will be following procedures and tasks outlined by Network Overdrive’s Technical Lead and Senior Consultants and must be willing to work alone and in a team environment as required. Advancement to Technical Lead, Sales or Management roles available for the right applicant.
